Mainland and Island U16 Trials for Tropical 7s; Skills session coming to Prince George
2024 is going to be a big year for the BC Bears Girls 7s Program, kicking off with U16 Girls Tropical 7s Trials and a Skills and Development Session in Prince George – register now!
Following an exciting Global Youth Sevens experience for the BC Bears U18 Girls 7s team, 2024 is going to be a busy Rugby 7s year both for BC and internationally!
The BC Bears U16 Girls 7s team will be heading to Florida to compete in the Tropical 7s in March, while the U18 Girls 7s Program will once again compete at the Global Youth Sevens in December. The BC Summer Games will see eight zones compete in Girls Rugby 7s, while Rugby Sevens will once again be a showpiece spectacle at the 2024 Paris Olympics!
BC Bears Girls 7s Head Coach Darcy Patterson is kicking off the year with BC Bears U16 Girls 7s Mainland and Island Trials for the Tropical 7s on the weekend of January 13-14.
Darcy will then head to Prince George for a BC Girls 7s Skills and Development Session on February 1, open to all female athletes born in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. This session will help prepare athletes interested in competing at the 2024 BC Summer Games in Maple Ridge, and BC Bears Girls 7s Programs in 2024 and beyond.
